Trust The Process – Lean Into The Lord- He’ll Take You To Levels You Never Imagined! By Rob Hurst

My journey hasn’t been a straight path—it’s been filled with unexpected turns, painful seasons, and moments that stretched my faith in ways I never imagined. I’ve experienced deep personal loss, including divorce, financial hardship, losing my home, my job, and at times even my sense of direction. There were seasons when everything felt like it was falling apart all at once, and I found myself asking how I would rebuild, how I would move forward, and where God was in the middle of it all.

But looking back now, I can clearly see that God never left me. In fact, those were the very moments He was drawing me closer.

When everything external was stripped away, I had no choice but to lean fully on Him. I couldn’t rely on my own strength, my own plans, or even what I thought life was supposed to look like. Prayer became more than a routine—it became my lifeline. I began to seek God not just for answers, but for peace, clarity, and strength to keep going one day at a time.

One of the biggest shifts in my life came when I stopped asking, “Why is this happening to me?” and started asking, “God, what are You trying to show me through this?” That perspective change transformed everything. I’ve learned that many things are not happening to you, but they are happening for you. Instead of seeing obstacles as punishment, I began to see them as preparation. Instead of feeling defeated, I started to grow stronger in my faith.

Through those hardships, God was developing something in me that success alone never could—resilience, humility, patience, and a deeper trust in Him. I learned that faith isn’t about everything going right; it’s about trusting God even when everything feels wrong.

There were days I didn’t have all the answers, but I held on to the belief that God was working behind the scenes. Even in the silence, He was moving. Even in the delays, He was preparing me. And even in the pain, He was shaping me for a greater purpose.

Today, I don’t just see what I went through as struggles—I see them as part of my testimony. Every setback taught me something. Every loss redirected me. Every challenge pushed me closer to becoming the person God created me to be.

Now, I walk with a greater sense of purpose and clarity. I value time, family, peace, and the ability to impact others in a meaningful way. I’ve learned that true success isn’t just about what you gain—it’s about who you become and how you help others along the way.

My heart now is to encourage others who may be going through their own storms. If someone feels broken, lost, or uncertain, I want them to know this: your current situation is not your final destination. God is still writing your story. What feels like an ending may actually be a new beginning.

Trust Him, even when you don’t understand. Keep moving forward, even when it’s hard. And know that every challenge you face has the potential to strengthen your faith and position you for something greater.

If my journey can help someone hold on a little longer, believe a little stronger, or see God in a new way, then everything I went through was worth it.
